16 national teams for children under 17 years of age will participate in the event, including Cyprus. The countries that will participate in the final phase of EURO U17 2024. Cyprus, as the host country, will participate in the final phase without qualifiers. The sixteen teams will be divided into four groups of four. The top two from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, followed by knock-out matches to determine the pair in the grand final.

A total of 31 matches will be held over the 16 days that the event will last.
